Inter Care I+ Medical Aid for Africa

Inter Care I+ Medical Aid for Africa is a UK registered charity which collects selected returned patient medicines from GP practices and, after appropriate quality controls, recycles them free of charge to a network of over one hundred health centres in seven desperately poor countries of sub-Saharan Africa.

How to Donate Medicines
Members of the public can return their unwanted medicines to their GP. Inter Care then collects the medicines from the GP, and their trusty volunteer team of healthcare professionals check and sort the medicines before they are shipped to the clinics in Africa.

GPs and other health professionals can register to collect returned medicines and other surgical items by downloading our Healthcare Professionals Information Pack which includes registration forms, details of our collection service, a list of the medical and surgical items we can accept, and posters asking patients to bring in their unused medicines.

If your GP or pharmacist is not registered please tell them about InterCare.
