Bright Sparks

Choose to Re-use and Repair!

Save money, save the environment

Bright Sparks is Islington’s Re-use and Repair project that collects furniture (provided by Islington council housing department, who clear empty properties), bric-a-brac and small electrical items and white goods for re-use.   They also accept donations of furniture, bric-a-brac, books and small electrical items from members of the public and bring those items back to life for re-use.  The cleaned and refurbished items are then sold at low prices to local people through our shop.

Interested in gaining skills & experience in retail, warehousing, driver’s mate, electrical or basic furniture repair? Want to help a local not for profit social enterprise? Volunteer at Bright Sparks and help us provide low-cost, quality furniture items, bric-a-brac and electrical appliances for the local community.
