Bright Sparks is a Re-use and Repair project
Bright Sparks work with local authorities and social landlords in North and East London to divert reusable second hand furniture and other household items (white goods, small electricals, bric-a-brac and crockery) from landfill.
Through this activity they provide jobs for local people and volunteering opportunities for individuals looking to get back into work and purposeful activities for socially excluded individuals.
If you’re interested in gaining skills & experience in retail, warehousing, driver’s mate, electrical or basic furniture repair, (cleaned and refurbished items are sold at low prices to local people through their shop),
and want to help a local not for profit social enterprise? Volunteer at Bright Sparks and help them provide low-cost, quality furniture items and electrical appliances for the local community.
