For more than 430 years, clean water and natural fibres have represented the foundation for Hahnemühle’s success. Without these raw materials, producing their fine papers would be just impossible. Feeling a special responsibility for their environment they founded the Green Rooster initiative.
This encompasses their campaign for ecological paper production and the development of resource saving papers. These are easily recognised by the green sticker attached to all the initiative products. A contribution from the sales revenue of the Bamboo and Sugar Cane papers is donated by us to selected environmental-protection projects – take a look.
