Toilet Tissue that Cares
Simon, Jehan and Danny started ‘Who Gives A Crap’ toilet tissue when they learnt that 2.4 billion people across the world don’t have access to a toilet.
That’s roughly 40% of the global population and means that diarrhoea-related diseases fill over half of sub-Saharan African hospital beds and kill 900 children under 5 every day.
They delivered their first product in March 2013 and have been thrilled to keep growing ever since. Not just because their toilet paper is gracing bathrooms across the country, but also because they donate 50% of their profits to help build toilets and improve sanitation in the developing world.
Tree-free is the way to be. They use only 100% recycled paper fibres, bamboo or sugarcane in their products, saving water, carbon emissions and trees. Trees are better for hugging than they are for wiping anyway. Super-soft and super-strong, these products are as good for you as they are for your wallet. They also make all their products without any dyes, inks, or scents, AND they don’t come wrapped in plastic, so worry not!
