G & P collect and recycle used batteries
Mixed waste batteries are classed as Hazardous Waste so they need to be stored correctly to comply with Environmental and Duty of Care legislation.
G & P will process portable, car and industrial batteries or battery powered appliances used in the UK.
When requested we provide our customers with at least one Battery Bank to store waste batteries safely. When the container is nearly full, customers simply contact G & P and arrange to Collect. G & P will come along a few days later, remove the full bin and leave an empty one in its place.
