Alupro (Aluminium Packaging Recycling Organisation) is a not-for-profit company which represents the leading aluminium packaging producers and reprocessors in the UK.
Aluminium Foil
All clean aluminium foil can be reused or recycled, such as foil trays and pie cases, dairy lidding, and household *wrapping foil.
NOTE – Metallised plastic film such as crisp packets will spring back when scrunched in the hand, and should not be given for recycling.
*You can recycle aluminium cans in your recycling sack, however some waste authorities do not collect foil at present.
