Air pollution is real and harms the health of millions. But there are lots of simple things we can do to improve air quality and look after our own and other people’s health.
Clean Air Day is a chance to find out more about air pollution, share information with friends and colleagues, and help make the air cleaner and healthier for everyone.
Clean Air Day aims to…
• improve public understanding of air pollution, both indoors and outdoors
• build awareness of how air pollution affects our health, especially that of young children and people with heart and lung problems
• explain some of the easy things we can all do to tackle air pollution. The more of us taking steps to protect ourselves, the better it is for everyone else.
